Is there a watermark or time limit?

None. The recorder uses your browser's MediaRecorder API - recordings are as long as your disk and memory allow, with no branding overlay.

Does it upload my recording?

Never. Capture and encoding happen entirely in your browser. The file never leaves your device unless you upload it somewhere yourself.

Can I record system audio (tab sound)?

Yes on Chrome, Edge, and Opera when you pick 'Chrome tab' or 'Entire screen' and tick 'Share audio' in the prompt. Firefox and Safari currently limit system audio capture.

MP4 or WebM - which will I get?

The output format picker lists whatever your browser can encode. Safari and modern Chromium expose MP4 (H.264 + AAC) directly. Firefox and older Chrome give you WebM (VP9/VP8 + Opus). WebM plays in every modern player and any converter turns it into MP4 in one step if a target platform insists.
