How random is the password?
It uses window.crypto.getRandomValues - the same cryptographically secure random source browsers use for TLS. Not Math.random.
What length should I use?
16+ characters with mixed types is strong for most cases. For anything critical, use 24+ or a passphrase manager like 1Password or Bitwarden.
What are 'ambiguous characters'?
0/O, 1/l/I - characters that look alike in some fonts. Toggle 'Exclude ambiguous' if the password will be typed by hand.
Is my password sent anywhere?
Never. Generation runs entirely in your browser and nothing is stored, logged, or transmitted.
