よくある質問

What is the compound interest formula?

A = P(1 + r/n)^(nt) + PMT × [((1 + r/n)^(nt) − 1) ÷ (r/n)], where P is principal, r is annual rate, n is compounding periods per year, t is years, and PMT is the per-period contribution.

What is compounding frequency?

How often interest is added back to the balance. More frequent compounding (daily vs annual) produces slightly higher returns because interest earns interest sooner.

Does this account for inflation or taxes?

No - this is a nominal-return calculator. Real (inflation-adjusted) returns and after-tax returns are typically lower.

Is my data uploaded?

No. All calculations run entirely in your browser.
